Usually only after this event. Now where do I start. Woz and Alice. Drank 6 cartons of beer. Last year it was 5,( and other huge amounts of grog) You are legends! Jon , you made my night with that dress, wait till you see the video!! And the surf we had with Jay. Late arvo glass off. Just on Jay and his family, great people. Playing guitar!? (Not too sure how good) with Julian, Reno and the ex-drummer turned slide king, Shaun. The jam we has on the beach on Friday night was a ripper. Julian , that was where the voice went, I reckon. The jam we had at the BBQ area on Monday was just starting to get good then 10pm arrived. The Captain Cornish, you are a legend mate and it is always good to have a chat, you mainly doing most of the talking!! Roy and Anita, It wasn't me who made Roy drink that beer it was Andy!! It was great to catch up again and I love the new bus. No one managed to pinch it this year and hide it somewhere else. Speaking of Andy and Lorraine, great people and good to see you again. Mick and Judy, Mick didn't get much in the way of surf this year but 2 flat tyres, I can't believe that. Hey Carl, Justine has a beautiful singing voice and you are ' RED HOT'. Dave (Necro) you sneaky bugger, turned up out of nowhere and we had another ripper of a time. You still owe me that $100 for Kane living with us for 4 days. And Jedda , some hot bongos goin on there. Thank you Kelly and Celia for the Archers larger, lucky Melissa didn't sell that kidney when we got the heads done on the bay, I might just need it! Thats all I can think of at the moment but I'm sure other memories of a great time and great people will be remembered as I think back on a simple thing such as a Kombi that brings all of us together. Scott RE: Pics & reports - Oldman - 06-07-2022 From Woz: Well, here are some more pics. Well Alice and I were late for the start of our konvoy from Melbourne. Paul kindly left for Sydney a day early for his (as it turned out - victorious! band competition - well done Paul!) to accompany Alice and I to Sydney in his VW Caddy camper. This is Alice and Paul at the start of the Victorian Konvoy. ![]() We had a slow and uneventful journey, while Paul tried to hold his TDI back from going too fast. We reached Jugiong where we camped next to the Murrumbidgee River. ![]() I liked this shot of Alice in Wodonga on the way ![]() Quote:My dog enjoyed the trip |
