Steering box

It is possible you may have a decent box, see what it's like when it's got more leverage or load on the steering box when you have it back in the car and see how it feels then.

Can't wait for that day, but she's still a long way off. I've never driven it, but the mate I bought it off said he was having trouble with tight steering. When I pulled the box apart, the inside was a dry crusty mess....so maybe that was the problem. But I've also removed the entire front beam and I'm in the process of replacing all ball joints, tie rod ends, drag link and centre pin, so maybe it was something there as well....
